CurableBlindess.org was founded in 2010, with the mission of being a comprehensive online resource on the global health issue of curable blindness. With country-specific blindness data, news articles, case studies, and information on organizations working to eradicate curable blindness, we aim to increase awareness and funding to help eradicate curable blindness.
Curable blindness is defined as any form of blindness which can be cured with current science and technology, but remain uncured for approximately 40 million people worldwide due to a lack of financial resources, patient ignorance that they can be cured, or both.
